We hold 31 Class 10 papers from 2022 to 2026: CBSE Class 10 previous year question papers and ICSE ones. The table below lists every one, by board, subject and year. Each is free to download. Every paper comes with a worked solution. Each also comes with our own analysis of what the paper asked.

Everything in the library, made from the library itself on each build - so this table always matches what the paper library serves.

Which years and subjects are covered?

For CBSE we hold Mathematics and Science, from 2022. For ICSE we hold Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, from 2023. Each is the board's own paper for that year, typed out again, with diagrams redrawn where needed.

Do the papers come with solutions?

Every paper comes with a worked solution. The solution is written by our team, step by step. It is not the board's own answer key.

The board's key is the marking scheme - the board's list of points each answer must make. Read the solution to see how a question is done. Read the marking scheme to see where its marks are given.

What does the analysis in each download show?

  • How many marks each chapter and unit carried.
  • Which marks had no choice, and which came from internal choices or optional questions.
  • Our rating of each question's difficulty, and the kind of thinking it asks for.
  • Our estimate of the time each section takes.
  • What changed from earlier years, and the instructions printed on the paper.

The ratings and times are our estimates of the paper, not results from real answer sheets. To see one in full, decoding the CBSE Class 10 Maths 2025 paper is written from one of these analyses.

How should your child use previous year papers?

  • Sit one full paper in its own time limit, with the 15 minutes of reading first. That shows whether the clock is a problem.
  • Check it against the marking scheme, one step at a time. How step marking works shows why a wrong final answer can still earn marks.
  • Look at where each mark went, not only the total. Why students lose marks they actually knew lists the usual places.

What else should you read about the papers?

Why are the 2022 CBSE papers shorter?

In 2022, CBSE split the year into two terms. The 2022 papers we hold are Term 2 papers of 40 marks, written in two hours. Later papers are 80 marks in three hours. Use the 2022 papers for single questions, not to practise the full paper.

Why does CBSE Maths have Basic and Standard papers?

Until now, CBSE has set Class 10 Maths as two different papers: Basic and Standard. We hold both for every year. Practise the level your child will sit, because the two papers ask different questions. Maths Basic or Standard: which to take explains the choice.

CBSE's 2026-27 curriculum says the Basic and Standard papers will be discontinued. Students in Class 10 during 2026-27 are the last who may still take Maths Basic. From Class 10 in 2027-28, there is one common Maths paper, plus an optional 25-mark Maths Advanced paper.

What is not in the library yet?

  • No English, Social Science or Hindi papers, for either board.
  • Nothing before 2022 for CBSE, or before 2023 for ICSE.
  • No papers in Hindi medium.
  • No CBSE sample papers. CBSE publishes its own sample papers for 2026-27, with a marking scheme for each.

CBSE also posts its own previous year question papers on its website. Those are the board's files, without a solution or an analysis.

How do you download a paper?

Pick a paper in the library and fill in a short form for a parent. A one-time code then confirms it is you. Why downloads need a quick check explains that step. The download link then stays valid for 48 hours.

Before you start, see how CBSE and ICSE papers differ. A paper from your child's own board, subject and level is the one to practise the exam with.
